WHEN YOU GIVE TO UNION BAPTIST CHURCH, YOU BECOME A PART OF SOMETHING BIG.
And it’s bigger than just a church building, or a large crowd that meets on the weekend. You become a part of how God is moving in Pittsburgh. Your financial gift impacts our city in a huge way.
Each and every financial gift is so important to our ministry, so we’ve tried our best to make giving as easy, and as convenient as possible for you. Check out all the ways you can give below.
Online Giving
It’s fast, convenient and secure. E-giving allows a specific dollar amount to be automatically deducted from a checking or saving account. You can set this up as a one-time donation or recurring gift. You can also give by credit or debit card. Click Here to Give Online
Mobile Giving
Want to give to the church on your mobile device or tablet? You can simply download the “SimpleGive” app from the App store, find “Union Baptist Church” zipcode “15218”, and give!
By Mail
Send your donation to Union Baptist Church of Swissvale, 2117 Collingwood Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15218. Be sure to include your name and address on the check so a record of your contribution can be provided for tax purposes.
On Location
Old school still works. Use the green offering envelopes for cash and checks and simply drop it in the offering plate that gets passed at every service. Please designate if your gift is for Tithes/Offerings or targeted to a special ministry. Also, you may stop past the board room, if you prefer to use a credit/debit card swipe machine to give.
Matching Gifts
Thousands of companies match the charitable contributions of their employees. Here’s how it works: The employee gets a matching gift form their employer (often the HR department) and fills it out. The employee sends the form to the nonprofit organization (Union Baptist Church of Swissvale) along with their gift. The nonprofit receiving the gift completes the form and mails it back to the company. The company sends the nonprofit the matching gift. Is that cool, or what?
Estate Planning
This may be the largest single act of stewardship most of us will ever perform. However, up to 80% of Americans die without an estate plan! We can show you how to transfer the assets God has entrusted you with to individuals and charitable beneficiaries – in a tax-efficient way that achieves your goal of perpetuating God’s work. To discuss leaving a legacy that utilizes the capital you’ve accumulated in a lifetime of work, email [email protected]
Non-Cash Assets
We are always open to receiving non-cash donations such as electronics, appliances, office and general supplies that aid us in carrying out our mission. If you have any items that you think may benefit the church, please email [email protected]
